Bengt Lindström was a prominent Swedish artist, born on September 3, 1925, in Storsjö kapell, in northern Sweden. He passed away on January 29, 2008. Lindström is internationally recognized for his expressive and colorful paintings, often inspired by nature, myths, and the Sami culture, the indigenous people of northern Scandinavia.

After working as a miner for a period, Lindström began to take painting more seriously in the 1940s.
