Haring
Keith Haring (May 4, 1958 - February 16, 1990) was an important painter and draftsman in the United States. Haring studied at the New York City School of Visual Arts and developed a unique style inspired by graffiti, cartoons, and comic strips, which he made clandestinely at night on subway stations around New York. He also created paintings, drawings and prints in a graffiti style, using signs, abstract symbols, and human and animal figures in a spaceless environment.
